Who We Are

ETC is an international theatre company located in Falun, Sweden. We make performances and movies and we teach people things. We are interested in what is compassionate, honest, real, open and vulnerable. Our path is towards an 'enlightened theatre'.

What We Do

As performers we provide the global marketplace with inspiration, performance art and films. As theatre educators we teach people how to make art that comes from the heart. No less importantly we teach corporate folks how to speak in public and we offer private consulting services.

Why We Do It

At ETC we reject the idea that artists of any kind must be overly neurotic, addicted or dysfunctional in order to create viable art. We believe that theatre artists should seek to become beacons of joyfully awakened, high-functioning expressiveness as it is their job to be clear conduits for communicating the mysteries of being human. Ever imperfect we strive towards these goals in our lives and our work.
